Starter legal template—have these terms reviewed for your business and jurisdiction before publishing.
Project agreements
Website descriptions are general information, not a binding proposal. Scope, deliverables, timing, fees, revision limits and responsibilities are confirmed in a separate written agreement or accepted proposal.
Client responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing lawful content, timely feedback, required access and permission to use any supplied assets, designs or reference websites. Website recreation work must be authorized and must not infringe third-party rights.
Payments and delivery
Payment milestones, taxes, cancellation terms and license costs are defined per engagement. Ownership transfers only as described in the project agreement and after required payments clear. Third-party software remains subject to its own license.
Support and liability
Support covers the period and scope stated in the agreement. No website or software can be guaranteed error-free or continuously available. Add the agency legal name, governing law, warranty limits, dispute terms and effective date before publishing.
